What does ready for agents mean for a business?
An AI agent is software that carries out a task for a person on the web: looking up a product, comparing prices, filling in a booking form or paying. Cloudflare describes the web it wants for agents as readable, discoverable, callable and payable. We use five plain questions that cover the same ground, and add one that customers care about: can the agent, and the person behind it, trust you, and can you trust the agent?
Can agents find you?
Whether AI crawlers and assistants are allowed in, and whether they can locate your important pages.
Can agents read you?
Whether products, prices, policies and articles are available as text an agent can parse.
Can agents act on your site?
Whether the main task (buy, book, subscribe, request a quote) can be completed through standard forms or a documented interface.
Can agents pay?
Whether full prices are visible before the last step, and whether your payments team has a position on purchases an agent starts.
Can agents be trusted, and trust you?
Whether you can tell verified agents from unknown automation, and whether your terms and policies are public.

Is this a scan of my website?
No. The self-check scores the answers you give. It does not visit your site, and your answers never leave your browser: nothing is submitted, stored or tracked. If you want an automated check of your public pages, tools that check describes scanners and services and what each one looks at.
